First time staying per family recommendation. On arrival at 120 pm we found the store to be closed. A sign on the door read call or text and someone will meet you at the store. Our campsite and those around us were level and easy to get into. The views are great. Internet access is easy with a great signal. I noticed the bathhouse to be modern and clean, however I don’t believe they meet ADA compliance. We met the camp host and lady who run the store who are both nice and helpful. We learned from the lady running the store that at the entrance that the guard house has a bathroom with a washer and dryer, that uses quarters only, for the campers.

It's amazing. It offers so much! All sites are easily accessible. They have privacy and beautiful view's. Most have access to the water. The restrooms/bathhouses are large, nicely decorated, always clean and stocked. The Mercantile offers a large range of items in case you forget anything. It's totally family fun. The playground is really nice for the children and helps the parents keep them satisfied. They offer so many activities for the whole family. And the boat ramps, plus being able to tie it up at your site, are definitely a plus for the men. That way Mama's happy, Daddys happy and the children have a great time. There's alot to enjoy. You'll be glad you came.

As a retired couple needing a change of scenery for a few days, my husband and I researched online and came across an out of way RV campground with great reviews. We cannot speak highly enough of this place. The entire experience, from the moment we pulled in, was made fantastic. The staff was friendly and efficient in giving us a helping hand. My husband is handicapped and we carry his mobility scooter on a lift behind our coach. Unfortunately, when docking I noticed...the scooter was gone! We made a trip back to the general store to rent a golf cart. Long story short, one of the staff members who was getting off of work, found the scooter along the road. By the grace of GOD! She called back to the store and the new staff then told us to go back to our super nice campsite and get set up. They would go pick up the scooter and bring it to us. Their truly helping hands are unbelievable. Definitely returning to this campgrounds again. Beautiful place and well kept!

7/15/23 First time camping here. Great area of the lake. Campground is very well maintained. Sites are large and spaced out to provide plenty of privacy. Some sites have a hill from the road to the site but all the sites seem level. The general store has lots of camping and fishing needs along with some food and souvenir items. All facilities are very clean and some have fancy upgrades from what you would find at other army corp parks. The new management has done a excellent job.
