Josie the girl with black hair and tattoos was on a power trip. When I checked in I wasn't told about no fires in the morning but when I was told I put it out immediately. 10 minutes later she calls me to tell me we are being kicked out early and is demanding for us to leave immediately. My wife is still sleeping in the tent and this is our first time to visit the national park. While making breakfast we can see Josie staring at us from across the way for the next several hours. Young guy comes over to check on us at 11:08 to let us know if we are still here by 11:30 we will get charged a late fee. We go inside the store to get our coffee, drinks and browse for souvenirs. Josie starts yelling at us that we should have been gone a long time ago and is adamant that we have to pay the late fee. We told her the guy said 11:30 and she then tells us that he doesn't even work there. I asked her if she treats everyone this way because there's no need to treat people this way for being 5 minutes late to check out. I agree to pay the late fee so we can just pay for our stuff and leave but I let her know we would be leaving a review since I noticed there Instagram profile is clearly posted on the wall for everyone to see. She then snatches the coffees we put on the counter and refused to let us purchase our drinks because I told her I would be leaving a review. She is extremely unprofessional for working in a customer service environment and she ruined our trip to Zion.
Very shaby camping. Location is ok just out of Zion. Dirty office, nasty smell. Only in this place there is A little WIFi. But the electricity is very poor. They say 50 Amp but we got A powershock. Our 2 Sockets got burned through. The say they would call A maintanance for the electricity. Nobody Came. We got no support at all.
DO NOT STAY HERE. We arrive at 7pm - not super late, but late enough after a long drive to want to settle in and make dinner. There is no front desk - we are greeted by this sign which says to check in across the road at The Get Outpost, or to phone them. I phone them, and get told that they will be over to check me in in 20-25 minutes. I ask if I can come to them as it'll be much quicker. The answer: "no, we're closed." I ask if they can at least let me know what site we are at so we can start setting up. Answer: "no. you need to check in first, I will be there in 20-25 minutes." Extremely frustrating, un-traveler-friendly, and this was only the start... Sites are down a massively overgrown dirt road, so our vehicle got really scratched up. Sites themselves also massively overgrown, tiny and uneven. I booked and paid for a 2WD site, and yet was given a site in the "primitive 4WD" area. Would have left if it wasn't late and we'd already paid $50 for this. Would be much better off camping out in the wild off a dirt road!
Josie (young woman with black hair and tattoos) completely ruined our trip to Zion Natl. Park. She berated us for checking out of our campsite 10 mins late and refused to sell us our coffee and drinks we tried to purchase. I’ve never been refused service in my life and the whole situation was horrendous. The other staff working here the night before were friendly so it’s a shame to have to write this review.
Booked a car camping spot with electric. Right next to the road, but traffic is minimal so not an issue. Last campsite before Zion. #73, right next to the hot showers/toilet/laundry. In proximity to the WiFi. Wash sink is nearby. An occasional stench from I assume a lagoon. Camp store is right across the street. Has a restaurant/hot food, pizza, ice cream too, I believe but didn't eat. If primitive camping you'll be out in the dirt roads and bushes. I'd like to give 4.5 stars simply because of everything it offers as your basic campground, but seems everything had something broke. One of the washers was broke. One of the men's showers was broke. One of the men's toilets was broke. One of the urinals was out. The ice machine at the camp store was broke so had to drive 20 minutes out to get ice. I'd stay again due to all the pluses it offers.
