Great trails for hiking, running or biking. Campsites have lots of room with most having either water view, waterfront or relatively secluded wooded area. The park workers and hosts are extremely helpful!they even went above and beyond to go find something my son lost in the woods! Highly recommended!
We recently tent camped here for the first time and really enjoyed it! The bathrooms were clean, stocked, and some of the nicest we’ve experienced at any campground. Beautiful area, we’d come back here for sure!
We loved this campground. Everything was clean and the campsites were roomy. We stayed in campsite 87 and especially enjoyed the water. I wished we had more time to stay.
Beautiful campgrounds. A lot of wildlife. Park attendants, especially Debbie, were very helpful. Each lot has a great picnic area. Decently spaced lots. Some require some extra work to get level. Close to town. Only downsides are the showers did not seem to have water that got very hot and the dump station can get rather congested. Although it has two lanes, it only has one sewer hole to dump which is rather inconvenient when everyone is checking out given there are no sewer hookups in the park. But overall, a good place.
We enjoyed Highland village fireworks from the campground. It was nice.
