Hickory Haven Campground

We stayed at Hickory Haven for three nights. When we got there, the owner (John?) came and helped us get our tent camper set up. He was so friendly and helpful. He even helped my eight year old find and catch a toad. 😄 The bathrooms were nice. It felt like a really safe place to stay. We would absolutely come back!

The campsite owners are very kind and welcoming. Very quick to get back to you of you need as well. Definitely recommend this cute little campground to anyone needing a little time away!

Nice quiet campground, close to a cute little town. Boyfriend & I stayed here for a couple months, really enjoyed the place, had no problems.

Google questions on this review refer to “room” let’s be clear, this is a campground. Registration was done on line and we arrived after hours, camp host was very fast getting to us on our arrival (phone posted on door who to contact). Google maps was spot on getting us to the campground, right off the 518 just a short drive on a well maintained gravel road after that. Pull through 30amp full hookup made an easy in and out for an overnight stay. There were areas to walk the dogs too. Other amenities available but did not use them.

Great place to camp. We arrived and had an issue with our camper and the owner was very helpful and kind. The grounds are very clean, the area quiet and the campground has lots of amenities. Highly recommended!!

Put our 5th wheel here due to work. Well work didn't pan out but this place was really nice. Husband said shower was awesome. Stayed there a couple nights at a time, but overall it was a pleasant stay.

I traveled here to work a shutdown at a local plant. Since i pulled in, I've encountered courtesy help with answering my questions and a good conversation with the owner, John. I absolutely recommend staying here if you get the chance. It's peaceful and clean , and the staff are extremely courteous and helpful. I 100% will be coming back here to camp after the shutdown is over.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly host who showed us around. The campground was quiet and easy to access. The restrooms and shower area were clean and stocked. There was a playground and a pavilion area where kids could play. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Had an awesome time, the owners are amazing talked and hung out with them a lot, the people here are great, the spots are nice pretty easy to pull in, level, all rock with plenty of grass for activities.

We go with our friends every year for Halloween festivities, but ALWAYS have a great time. The campground is in a good location and the owners are very kind and take care of the grounds. Love it there!
