My stay at Hickory Lane Campground was nothing short of fantastic. The campground is nestled in a serene setting, offering the perfect blend of nature and comfort. Whether you're into hiking, fishing, or just enjoying a quiet evening by the fire, this place has it all. The campground is also conveniently located near several local attractions, making it an ideal spot for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. If I had to offer one suggestion for improvement, it would be to upgrade the laundry room and bathrooms. While they are functional, a bit of modernization would take this already wonderful campground to the next level. Overall, Hickory Lane Campground is a gem, and I can't wait to return for another stay. Highly recommend staying here!
Quiet, family owned, campground. My son and I enjoyed our stay here! The owners are very nice and helpful. We will definitely stay here anytime we pass through!
Great people own this place. Very friendly and helpful. Big park even though I didn't see it all. Nice pond for fishing. I think it's a pay lake. There are Bald Eagles in the area and I was lucky enough to see one. I was on top of the hill and the strong winds made me nervous a few times. Not sure how the winds were in the lower part of the park. If I'm ever in the area for work again, I'll definitely stay there.
Hickory Lane Campground is a small family-run campground with a petting zoo/farm vibe. There are dogs, cats, goats, chickens, turkeys that all get along with the long-term, migrant workers and short-term guests. Everyone is quiet and respectful. Lisa and her husband were very helpful and accommodating during our unexpected stay resulting from a broken leaf spring. We would not hesitate to stay again when in the area.
This quaint shady campground is a gem. The fresh air, the big shade trees, the fully stocked small lake is jammed packed with catfish. It's peaceful and the owners Greg and Lisa are the nicest people. I highly recommend this campground
