Hidden Gem Campground is strategically located just outside of Wagner, South Dakota (Charles Mix County), providing excellent access to the region's top natural attractions.
The physical address is 39648 SD-46, Wagner, SD 57380, USA. This location places the park approximately one mile east of the city of Wagner and just 13 miles east of the critical Fort Randall Dam and the mighty Missouri River. This makes it an ideal launch point for boating, fishing, and water recreation on Lake Francis Case.
The park is highly accessible, situated directly off State Highway 46. The campground itself is laid out with wide main roads and boasts over 70 spacious, level pads. Each pad is approximately 70 feet long and 13 feet wide, graveled, with an adjacent 70-foot by 30-foot grass area. The campground is clean & spacious. River is about 20 minutes away. Reasonable rates. They also have a full bar & grill just off the highway. Very nice place.
It was a nice place. Signage could be better and maybe a yard light or two. If you get there after dark, it's pitch black and a little hard to set up.
