Hidden Lake Campground and Resort

Great campground. We really enjoyed our time here. I appreciated that the showers were clean and the sites were level. The kids loved the lake - it’s crystal clear. They caught fish and little turtles. I would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We pulled our camper about 6 hours to get here from North Dakota. It's beautiful and peaceful. There was construction in town so it was difficult to find at first but we finally found it. Lake is a lot smaller than I thought but it was so pretty and full of fish for my boys to catch as it's catch and release only. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We rented a paddle boat 2 whole days for $50 which for us was totally worth it! Bathrooms were clean and water pressure good in the showers. I would recommend, and have recommended, this place to my friends and family. Check out Cascade Falls! It's so beautiful and nearby. Get there early to get a good spot and pack a lunch, you'll want to stay all day.

This place is the bomb!! We stayed 7 days. It is very central to attractions. mammoth dig, Custer state park, crazy horse, Mount Rushmore, cascade picnic area, cold brook reservoir … so many beautiful places. The campground is amazing. We were there off so the store was not opened. The man who owns and works here is just precious. Things are kept very clean and organized. The lake / pond is crystal clear. It is a peaceful retreat for anyone. Birds galore, deer, and bunnies. My dogs enjoyed running in the field and playing in the water.

Great place for a family camping trip. The pond was great for fishing and paddleboarding with clear water. It had a well-stocked camp store and very friendly staff. Easy drive to Custer State Park and the Black Hills National Forest. The camp sites were a little close to your neighbors but overall we would definitely recommend this campground.

Wew had booked a RV spot for the 2024 Hot Air Bollon Event. My 87 year old father had an medical emergency 10 day before our stay, we called and canceld and they said No Refund so We asked for a credit to use for a stay with in a year and they said No Credit. They had already charged our credit cards for the full amount. I will not give them my busniness and will not spend any money in the Hot Springs Area in the future. We travel to the Black Hills region several times a year from NE SD.

The customer service at Hidden Lake was outstanding. We had reserved an RV spot and on our way to the campground we had automotive issues. The owners were kind enough to drive me into town to the auto parts store to get the items needed to get back on the road. They did this when the roadside assistance I paid for was unable to quickly get any help. I am truly grateful for their aid! Regarding the campground and facilities, they were all wonderful. There was a small playground that all of my kids thoroughly enjoyed! The lake was nice and provided a scenic walk to relive the stress of the day! The bath house was clean and comfortable. I wish we would have had more time to rent a kayak or canoe, because the kids would have loved that too. Again, I cannot recommend Hidden Lake highly enough!
