IF YOU HAVE KIDS PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!! The owner was very odd and tried taking pictures of my 8 year old in the pool! and when we said no he got very angry and said it's his campground and he will take pictures if he wants. And then tried loudly talking at my child we actually packed up and left because after that we just got the feeling of being watched and unsafe Reply to owners comment: you didn't take pictures of our site or the adults just a 8 year old? Seems very weird to me
Where do I even begin… If you’re thinking of staying here, don’t! This place is a DUMP! You walk into a literal mushroom shop. The photos online are extremely misleading. They charge double what other parks in the area charge. We checked in and immediately left on a holiday weekend. It’s dirty, cramped, and unkempt. We called around to find another spot in town and all the other park owners confirmed that the owner (Mike) at Hidden Pines is basically a crook. He overcharges, misleads, and mismanages the park. We were placed in a grass lot, there were no views, no ocean access. Nothing. The lot was so bad our auto leveling trailer couldn’t level. I was going to just let it go but the owner, Mike, called me five times after leaving and screamed at me. I didn’t even ask for my money back and told him he could give the space away. He kept screaming at me and told me he was going to write a report so I could never go there again - no problem Mike, we WILL NOT be back. Now this is the point I decided to write a negative review. After screaming at me on the phone, he gave my phone number to a random person to have that person ask me if I would call HP to allow them to buy my spot. I never consented to my information being shared. I would rate this place negative stars if I could. It’s atrocious and crooked, and other park owners jump to help you find a space when you call and ask, because it’s THAT BAD! Stealing this bit from another review, because it’s absolutely accurate - Also, this is for Mike, DO NOT WRITE THAT WE VIOLATED POLICIES OR DID NOT STAY AT YOUR PARK. YOU ARE A SCUMBAG AND OVERCHARGE FOR SOMETHING THAT IS AN ABSOLUTE ATROCITY.
Grossly over-priced at $69 plus tax plus quarters for the showers. The restroom is derelict, desperately in need of a make-over. There was only one other guest the night I stayed (there are full-timers in the upper section). We had the entire lower section to ourselves, so it was quiet and we slept well. A lengthy list of rules and liability waiver to sign. Having said that, I did find the owner (Mike) to be engaging when I had questions. And his employee did assist me at the dump station (wasn't requested or necessary, but that was a kind gesture). We stayed one night and then found a much better RV park for less money down the road.
One of my favorite rv camp spots! Will always go back to stay here. The name fits it so well beautiful tucked away spot right next to the town and a short walk to the beaches with a beautiful view looking out over the water. Staff is very nice and informative about the area. Very clean, very secluded each camp spot has its own tranquility an privacy fences away from the road enough to not hear traffic all night. Would recommend to any one!
Updated review- it looks like finally people are seeing this place for what truly is, the owner is a bitter old man and weird in the bad sense of the word. The place it’s not good enough for the prices that are charged, but the worst part about this place it’s the owner. PLEASE SEEK SOME OTHER CAMPGROUND IN THE AREA!!!
