Situated on 11 acres with 300 feet of waterfront property on beautiful Cotile Lake, this RV resort is specially curated for guests who value serenity, spaciousness, and the true enjoyment of the outdoors.

The core ethos of this park is a commitment to providing a natural, tranquil camping experience. As one guest beautifully summarized, this is “a place to unplug, unwind, and truly enjoy the outdoors,” offering a welcome alternative to the "fancy, overdeveloped campground." Here, you’ll find no paved roads or flashy amenities, but instead a peaceful, shaded environment where sites are generously spaced to ensure a genuine sense of privacy and tranquility.

Hidden Treasure RV Resort caters significantly to both short-term recreational campers and long-term guests, including traveling nurses and professionals working in the Central Louisiana area, particularly nearby Alexandria. Operated by on-site owners, Tim and Angela, who live on the property, the resort ensures a warm welcome, personalized assistance, and a family-friendly atmosphere. Their dedication is evident in the ongoing effort to improve the grounds, including the completion of a new, larger fishing pier following the impacts of Hurricanes Laura and Delta.

We were traveling from Texas to New Orleans. We had planned a short-term stopover here. Communication via WhatsApp was very pleasant. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and were shown around. Since we were Germans traveling in the USA with a camper for the first time, we received excellent instructions on the electricity and water connections. May God bless you, best regards from the two Germans🇩🇪🇺🇲

We spent two nights at Hidden Treasure RV Resort and appreciated its back-to-nature approach. This isn’t a fancy, overdeveloped campground—it’s a place to unplug, unwind, and truly enjoy the outdoors. No paved roads or flashy amenities, but everything you need is here. Each RV site comes with full hookups—electricity, water, and sewer—so you’re fully equipped while still immersed in the natural surroundings. Sites are well spaced, giving a true sense of privacy and tranquility. You won’t be staring at your neighbor’s window, and that alone sets this place apart. The campground sits on a scenic lake with a pier for fishing and a boat ramp. Sunsets over the water are beautiful and peaceful, and wildlife is abundant throughout the area. There’s a shared shower and bathroom facility—simple but functional. This resort is ideal for those who value serenity and natural beauty over luxury amenities. If you’re looking for a quiet escape with everything you need and nothing you don’t, this is it.

We came upon Hidden Treasure RV Resort by accident. It was an unplanned stay. We called to see if there was availability and the host said there was room for us. The drive to the destination was an enjoyable experience, it being April eveyhing was green and lush. We were pleased with the bathrooms, as my husband prefers those for the extra room rather than RV. We have a small dog and he was welcomed. The host were friendly and helpful in anything we needed. We stayed on site #13 and it was canopied by a fantastic Maple tree. The sounds of birds was Therapeutic! We were very pleased with our stay. Great WI FI

Hidden Treasure is the PERFECT name for this RV park. This place was utterly amazing! I have never seen a more beautiful RV park. Showers bathrooms, and laundry. Right on a beautiful lake. It is run by just a couple and they take very good care of the park and they are very nice people. Very helpful and kind. if you are anywhere near this area, even if you are a little bit out of the way, I so recommend this. It’s absolutely amazing! The sites are not jammed together and it’s like you’re in a forest. I wish this place was closer to us, however, we are just traveling through. Definitely highly recommend!
