Customer Reviews
Family and I stayed here on one of the tent camping spots. It was awesome! It was cleaned up and well taken care of. Lots to do and laundry spot was clean and they all worked. There were basketballs with court and a park. The front desk was friendly and efficient. We definitely recommend staying here!
I'm a little late posting my review (we stayed here September 5th-6th, 2024), but it's worth the read! This was our first time staying here and I can't speak highly enough about this campground and RV park, it was AMAZING! We were only able to stay here one night, but trust me, if we could've stayed longer, we would have! We found it very easily, but it's definitely a hidden gem! Large entrance which made it easy to drive in and out, even with other vehicles coming and going. Make sure you don't go past the posted sign that says "Stop Here- All Guests Need to Check In Before Proceeding" because after checking in, you'll need to turn immediately to the left to follow the one-way loop around to wherever your reserved area is, so don't pull past that sign! The office is easy to find and walk up to. Very well kept area and building/grounds. Checking in was a breeze, the lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful! She gave us all the information we needed about the campground and provided a nice map so we could find our way around more easily. They do offer wifi to guests. I really wish we had more time to explore because they have access to a lake towards the back where you can go fishing. Our RV spot was #55, which was a back in spot that had full hookups, a fire pit and a picnic table. The sites up by us did not have shade, however, but we didn't need it since we had full hookups. The spots across the way from us on the other side of the cabins did have shade, so if you're looking for shaded spots, those are your best bet, but those don't have full hookups, only water and electric. They also have tent spots with electric hookups if needed. Our spot was perfect and we had plenty of room and weren't too close to either neighbor on each side. This campground had quite a few sites total, and the grounds were very well maintained! The camp host was also very nice and friendly, he gave us a firestarter pack for our campfire which was very helpful since we had forgotten to pack ours! There's a volleyball court, playground, tether ball, and they also have some arcade games and an air hockey table up near the office on the left. There's a small covered building that has firewood stocked for purchase too. The shower house is up near the office and was very clean. Overall, I can't say enough good things about this campground! It just had a wonderful feel to it and even though we were only here one night, we loved it right off the bat! We will definitely be back here again and I recommend staying here if you're looking for a great spot that's close to the local attractions and has all the great things you're looking for!
We stayed there in one of the dry cabins. We rode the UTV straight out of the campground. Had a place for the trailer and truck. The restrooms were immaculate, and they had great water pressure and hot water. Little walk from the cabin but not bad. The staff were accommodating and very nice. I will definitely come back and stay.
We spent 4 nights at this campground in a travel trailer. The area is very family friendly with many activities, including a small lake with paddle boats. The host and hostess were so friendly and helpful and found us a site to accommodate our toy-hauler, even though we had no reservation. The park is clean, well kept and in a beautiful setting. I would stay here again if I’m ever in the area.
Very nice, very well maintained campground with a family atmosphere. Stayed 5 nights to explore Deadwood and the surrounding area and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend!
We stayed at the Hidden Valley Campground for 3 nights in May 2025. The staff is very friendly and kind. We had truck problems, and we were delayed several days for our scheduled arrival, but they worked with us and were very accommodating. We had a nice site with a great view. The bath/showers were a little far from our site but were clean. Our only complaint would be the WIFI kept dropping us during an online lesson. A little frustrating but it worked. We would definitely stay here again, nice people!
Very clean and accommodating. We booked at another campground in front of this one but when we arrived they didn’t have a spot we could go in. Hidden Valley to the rescue!!! They worked it out so we could stay!! Very grateful for accommodating our needs. Very clean well maintained campground! Showers, laundry, game room and a private Lake!! Highly recommend!! Thanx Leah!!
