Great time again and again . Tenting sites are down in a valley . Cooler temp down by the brook. Washrooms were super clean and I even used the laundry facilities this time . Short drive to canoe beach and good location to salmon arm and neighbouring lake towns! Only downside to being near number one highway is some big truck noise but earplugs in at bedtime ! Family friendly . I felt safe in the key locked gate . Thanks again
Gorgeous campground very happy that we found it. The staff is very friendly, outgoing. Very affordable If I was looking for a campground. This is something I would want to look for define. I stumbled up on this one. Due to some situations, The tenting spots, they got some pretty big spots. And then they got some nice individual small tent spots. And they have a nice playground for kids to play on as well. One is newer style and 1 is an old style. And It is a scared and private campground.
We were there for the start of the weekend of July 14, 2023. The staff that greeted us when we arrived were fantastic. They were pleasant and kind and were very through in the explanation about our stay at the campground. We can see why it is called hidden valley, more like a hidden gem. The campground is very well maintained and clean. The tenting site you gave us had tons of room for our large tent and other camping accessories. It is nice that the campground is dog friendly. As you can see, our pup got to relax and enjoy her time too. It was nice to be provided many receptacles and waste bags for pet waste. My partner Norman and I will return. It made our Shuswap kayaking adventure as success.
Lovely campground just off the highway. We stayed for 2 nights and found the staff very helpful. At first when you turn in you are wondering where the heck your camping as there is a trailer court with the main building. You than will get directed through it a little ways and find a key gate that is automatic. Loved this security feature as I felt our camper was well guarded. There is a rather steep hill once you get through the gate with a sharp turn. That may intimidate you if your pulling anything bigger than 30ft. The group camping looked lovely there is a bridge to get across so I am not sure if it can fit a trailer across it. The stream that runs through it give it a storybook like feel with the tall trees around. Apparently it keeps alot of salmon when they spawn. So that was a cool fact. The facility was well kept and for showers. However the water was way too tricky... and I wish there would of been a family bathroom. All in all such a nice campground we will be back.
Such a cool spot off the highway. Looks like a provincial park once you are down in the valley. Clean and tidy and safe for the kiddos to explore and bike around. We definitely will be back! Full hookups was very nice to have too!
