If you're looking for a place to park an RV while you visit family in the area, or are passing through this location is convenient. Navigating the park in a larger (35+ foot) RV is tight but mostly navigable ( except the turn around at the back that is too tight for anything over 20 feet) Spots are just pedestals off the paved road. Hookups are padlocked. After you arrive and complete an online check in, you call HVL security and they come to unlock them for you. *Spot #24 The 50 amp ground is loose and set off errors on our surge protector. 30 amp worked fine. The water pipe is cracked/spraying, and the water pressure is outrageous. Do NOT try to use without a pressure regulator or a patched hose, The pressure was 120+ psi Watch out for black widows and rattlesnake
Great spot for kids, playground, basketball court; golf, driving range and restaurant across from the entrance.
Wish I could give 0 stars. This place is a joke. The sites r super small. There was no park that was close. U had to walk on a busy road to even get to it. The lake is over 2 miles aways. The bathroom where not kept up. I would never recommend this place. I didn't stay there asked for a refund. I only got less the half back .
Small but nice campground, next to a creek and to Lake County Park, which has a covered playground, basketball courts and enclosed by fenced baseball field.
It’s hard to really call this a campground. It’s a small lot in the middle of suburbia with the “sites” right on top of one another. You do not have access to hidden valley lake if you are staying here as that is private and gated.
