Hidden Valley Outfitters

This is one of the best float and camp locations in the state! The camping/RV sites are large and clean with plenty of room. Nice concrete pads that, if you’re lucky, are basically right on the river. The cabins are very clean, cool, and perfect for families. Great staff at the general store is always willing to help. Imos pizza for the days you don’t feel like cooking and all the prices are extremely reasonable. Thanks for a great time and we will be back next summer.

We have been coming to HVO for at least 10 years now. We have had nothing but great experiences. The staff is very friendly and treats us like family. I can’t imagine a year going by without camping here. Have recommended to lots of families and friends and they have also had nothing but great experiences. If you are considering camping here, don’t hesitate and do it. You won’t be disappointed.

They're great all-around! The grounds and buildings are well-kept, too. In fact, I saw one of the shuttle drivers handle an embarrassingly aggressive customer with calmness and composure. Then, shortly after emptying his trailer, I saw the boat wrangler observe a loose 5 year-old and return him to his campsite. Good folks!!

I don't know where to start. This is a very clean campground. The RV camping has pull-through camp spots. Each camp spot has a concrete pad to park your camper on. There's security that drives though the campgrounds to make you feel safe, but you don't really have anything to worry. The people at the camp are there having a good time, but there was no loud music or rowdy behavior. They have the most wonderful workers in this area. They're very attentive to their guests. They don't treat you like a number. They will give you directions to your campsite, or anything else you might ask for. I'd give them a 10/10. The Trading Post on site is where you'll check in at. It is also a little convenient store/gift shop. Like the campsite, it is extremely clean. If you want convenience, you shouldn't be too disappointed with the pricing. There's also a kitchen in there a made-to-order St. Louis style pizza. This pizza is very competitively priced.

We go to HVO every year with the family for camping and floating. The grounds are well cared for and the sites are clean and spacious. They have a little store on site for convenience. It’s an annual tradition to visit Bennett and we never miss an opportunity to stay at HVO

Did not know,we rented spots for tent camping,in a flood zone,campsites 277 an 278 park attendant told us this,after we had already rented sites,he told us we was at ground zero. NO ELECT at sites which they was suppose to be,as it had flooded,two weeks before,finally got power,only to loose it again.As more rain was on its way,and they shut power back off.Which was understandable. ONLY good thing about it was they informed us,of more rain was on its way,and river could rise more.So our adventure, at Hidden Valley Outfitters, really sucked,I do believe they should have said something about,the possible flooding.

This is a great camping spot next to the Bennett Springs State Park. You can fish from their property without a daily trout tag purchase (you do need trout endorsement on your fishing license!) The spots are always well maintained, and the restrooms and showers are always clean. I only wish they had a bench to sit on in the shower area.

Flat sites, next to the river, easy access to Bennett Springs. Lots of Porta potties but I only used the actual bathroom facilities. All were clean and usable. Would definitely go back.
