run down. lake is overwhelmed with weeds and grass. made reservation but didn't know we were coming. only bathrooms were open. They had dirty floors cracked toilets and sinks. 25 cents for hot water shower. no rec Hall, pool or activities available due to covid. one canoe for use no paddles. charged full price to stay here.
We really love it here. It is a no frills campground, yet has everything you need. The cost of a seasonal site is so affordable. They mow for you as well. Everyone is respectful & quite when they need to be. The owners are easy to approach. People have stayed for years upon years here. They pool is kept clean although you might get an occasional mouthy kiddo. Where don't you really?
If I could put less than one star I would. Do not come here. It is a dump. The campers look like they have been here since 1970. Shacks built next to them are falling apart with tarps covering them. People are rude...music blaring, dogs barking excessively, burning plastic and trash, etc. The pool area had music playing with nasty language not suitable for families. The lake is a field. Shall I go on???? Do yourself a favor and skip this one.
Has lots of programs for the family. Hurry! The campground is filling up. Weekends stays are great
It’s a dump. Looks like the place would be infested with bugs. Old RVs with tarps on top, roofs caved in, and wooden “porches.” They look abandoned. A lot of Cats are running around. We booked a long term stay in advanced and had to pay a down payment. When we got there the young girl working the desk couldn’t find our payment and we had to wait for the owners. She was very apologetic and sweet. Then when we went to our spot someone else was parked there and we had to wait on the owners again. The place looked run down and trash was everywhere. We left about an hour after checking in. Do a drive through before you book. Unfortunately we couldn’t being that we lived over 10 hours away. I don’t understand how or why they would let their place look that bad.
