The warm, welcoming atmosphere is a hallmark of this establishment, with visitors consistently praising the "super friendly owners! Tami and Bob, and their family are super welcoming and very nice people. It’s a family owned property and business for several generations now." Location and Accessibility

Hideaway Campground is ideally situated at 166 Indian Creek Valley Rd, Normalville, PA 15469, USA. For Pennsylvania locals, Hideaway Campground represents an ideal and accessible solution for those seeking a genuine escape from the daily grind without traveling great distances. For Pennsylvanians looking to reconnect with nature, enjoy simple pleasures like fishing in a quiet pond, and experience authentic, warm hospitality in a beautifully maintained, shaded setting, Hideaway Campground in Normalville is an absolute must-visit. It’s a tranquil oasis that perfectly fulfills the need for a peaceful, local getaway.

Wonderful, quiet, peaceful family-owned CG. We only stayed one night, but we really enjoyed it, and we would love to return. The family who owns the CG is extremely nice. The grounds are extensive and beautiful, well-kept up and everything is very clean. A small pond, beautiful tent sites, wooded and shaded. OH – the price! Our site was $35 !! Where have you ever seen a price like that for a beautiful CG?! The drawback: no internet, no swimming, very poor phone reception. If there were internet and good phone reception, I’d give this CG 5 stars. For now, it’s 4 stars, but unplug and you’ll enjoy it!

We have been camping at Hideaway for, probably, a decade. If you are looking for a safe, clean, quiet, family-feeling campground close to the hundreds of breathtaking sites and outdoor recreational activities of the Laurel Highlands, look no further. With either full RV hookup sites or field or woods tent camping sites available, there is truly something for everyone, and the affordable pricing, clean, hot showers and serene setting will have you coming back again and again. Our home away from home.

What a lovely lovely place this is! It's not huge but it's very well kept and has a pond for fishing and I was told there is a little waterfall but i didn't get the opportunityto see that... Everyone there was so nice, they waved at everyone and were all very respectful! I had the chance to chat with one of the owners briefly and she was just so genuinely kind! A rare beautiful kind person! The bathrooms were very clean and had showers if needed, everything was affordable and if you needed anything at all they would go out of their way to accommodate you... 10/10 Do recommend! Just watch when you are turning in because people like fly down that road... lol
