Our truck broke down and we were looking for a last minute spot for our family & camper, and wow, were we blessed to have found this INCREDIBLE campground! The owner, Irma is an absolute gem, and this campground boasts some of the most stunning views I've ever seen! The bathrooms were clean & had lovely hot showers, but the views were even more breathtaking! We've camped many places, and i must say, this place is truly beyond beautiful! This was an oasis during a tough time with our truck & we're so happy we came here!
We are so happy to have found this campground! We needed a last minute campsite and the owner helped us out and was extremely kind and welcoming throughout the process. The campground it’s self was nice, well maintained, and secluded. We loved having the creek right by us. The price is very fair and you get great value.
Really nice campground, shower house / Bathroom is wonderful, lots of kept campsites, great fishing spots and nice RV hookups. Old-fashioned playground ( the old school kind where everything is steel ). Price is fair and is pet friendly too.
We just stayed at this campground this past weekend to bike ride on the abandoned turnpike tunnels . What a GREAT little place!! Super clean restrooms and showers, nice camping spot with water and electricity, well mowed grounds, plenty of room to roam. It's a lot bigger than you think! While we were in the area, we went to the Flight 93 Memorial and stopped at the Jean Bonnet Tavern for dinner (highly recommend). Owners are super friendly and helpful as well as the caretakers of the campground. Highly recommend this campground if you find yourself in the area!!
The owner is very nice. The campground is secluded. I wasn't crazy about how the sites were set up. There were only 2 50 amp sites but we would have been on top of the other MH so we took a 30 amp since it was only for a night. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. They need to trim the trees as the top and sides of our MH were getting scratched on the road to and from the campsites. It's a bit of a drive from the main road. The tree needed to be trimmed on the site we were at too. It is NOT right off the highway as I thought when looking on the map - should have read the directions! From Breezewood it was about 8 miles of very windy road. I would not want to try from Bedford! GPS is a bit off saying it was "here" before we got to the entrance. The campground is about 50 minutes from the Flight 93 Memorial.
