Such a lovely little lake. There are some great spots in the campground which are still available to be used even though the Forest Service considers the site to be closed due to lack of maintenance funding. Bathroom is closed for example. So no reservations right now, just first come first served. If recommend arriving early in the day to ensure you find a spot though there was at least one spot that remained open the entire weekend we were there.

Amazing secluded campground. This is a sweet spot to relax and hangout for a couple days. Big crawdads in the lake. You can fish, kayak, and canoe. Sites are close to the lake. The pit toilet was very clean when we there last July.

Great campground. A little spendy at $19 a night for such a remote area, so I knocked a star for it. That said, the site is well maintained and the pit toilet was not too bad and was clean. Not even one bite from out of the lake. We did land a nice brown up at Shellrock however. Great trails. Skeeters weren't horrible, only two bites from two and a half days and two nights of camping and fishing. Lots of yellow jackets though. No trash receptacles, so you have to pack it out. Plan accordingly. Lots of awesome old growth trees. The place is truly beautiful. The roads to get rough in places due to the log trucks, so take that in to account. I'd go back.

Very nice secluded camp ground in the mount hood national forest. It has a bit of a rough gravel road with pot holes and washboarding leading up to it but most vehicles should be able to make it as long as they are not lowered.
