Customer Reviews
We booked here because they have an indoor pool. They closed the indoor pool for hours saying it was lightning, when it wasn't. When we called about getting the pool unlocked we were getting the run around about it. This was a campground where all the "campers" were people living there. It was basically like a trailer park. The spaces were so close together and muddy. The picnic table pads were very unsafe. When it came time to check out we asked for late check out, lady said there is none that someone was coming in our spot. When we checked online it was available.
Very nice and clean RV Park. Ponds for fishing, indoor pool, outdoor pool, and sauna. Clean and quit, great place for children lots to do. I do recommend a trip to Avery Island and take the tour of the tabasco plant only an hour drive.
Great camp ground. Looks like they are cleaning grass out of ponds and doing Improvements
Great place could be a little more up kept but all and pretty good. Staff and regulars have conflicts and it did mess with the atmosphere of the place. Would suggest some new upper management as she led the attitude club . They didn't not give us an issue it was just felt and heard all around you while trying to relax. The older card players sat at the tables closest to the games the kids wanted to play so the ping pong ball would hit them I would suggest they sit away from the games as there is plenty of room for all to have fun.
This is not a 5 star resort to start with I have 14 years of the snowbird package from April to October but the staff and home members makes it a 5 star resort their is maintenance that need to be address but it takes money from Corp to do that but it will take time Worker renters they have a few on location but it helps bring money into the resort but their rules need to be straight up because this is a resort They need more maintenance workers to keep up park remember in the swamp and mother nature doesn't help out it is low land grass grows fast and when it rains you can't cut grass That's all I have to say for that Nice getaway if you not picky this is not the high price R/V parks they building in 2024
