High Falls Park Campground

This was the first time I’ve been here. I came just to see the waterfall. The girl behind the counter was incredibly nice and provided great directions to get to the falls. No backpack allowed and $5 for adult. It’s downhill and involves a few sets of stairs. Along the way you’ll see some fascinating rock structures. A little less then a mile to get there since the first outlook is closed due to repairs. This was easy enough for me and my 15 year old daughter. The waterfall was truly beautiful and a must see!

I would not recommend this place for any one first I walked in the door to see about getting tickets for the trail and I had my service dog with me that I use for diabetes because I am type 1 he detects my low sugar spells .she was very rude saying no dogs aloud I had too wait outside .second my son was out on the play park on the slide with a friend's daughter just because my son was walking up the slide to catch her comming down the fat headed that thought he was a big tough guy started screaming at my son u better get him off that slide the boy in blue shirt .so let's just say I and my wife and other friends that were with us exchange few words of what we thought of him .and his customer service. So he asked us to leave the property but it's OK we left before I was gonna knock him out .it's too bad I had to leave 1 star just to leave a Google review post .

The place is nice and the waterfall is wonderful. You can just pass a few moments and connect with nature. On the negative note you are not allowed to bring anything with you down to the waterfall. On the positive note it is fisherman friendly. You can try to catch some trout there. Either way you might want to check it while you're out in that area.

Big and mostly private sites. Utilities worked perfectly. Lots of roads and paths for walking and bike riding. Nice bathrooms and showers. Helpful staff. Wonderful being near High Falls waterfall. Everything you need for a great camping or RV experience.
