Highland Campground

This is a great place to park your "home away from home." A fabulous community of caring fellow campers and an awesome events committee who work tirelessly to make it fun for all. ( Volunteers I might add) We have enjoyed 10 seasons out there and look forward to 10 more. Security is good and the owners are always working to make an even better camp experience. Some upgrades have been done just about every year. If you are looking for a great place to kick back and enjoy great people then that would be at Highland Campground for sure.

We have been here for 10 + yrs. Highland Campground is our happy place. We have made great friends and enjoy the activities that the Special Events Committee tirelessly work to put on all season. The security and maintenance people also work tirelessly to make it a safe and enjoyable place to camp. The owners have been making improvements every year. Can’t imagine going anyplace else.

I’m 14 years and counting at this wonderful campground that keeps getting better & better! The owners are exceptional and have a very friendly, knowledgeable & helpful on site manager that makes this a safe and popular destination. It is secure and gated, family friendly with a great park, river to swim in and lots of planned kids activities all summer. The yearly updates and maintenance are well appreciated. So many beautifully built up sites and people keep doing amazing things to make their places useable all year. I'm thankful for my amazing camp neighbours and friends who make every time I'm here extra fun & enjoyable. There are a few complainers once in a while here like anywhere…usually their complaints are baseless and they are just generally unhappy 😊

The owners are terrible, the rules only apply to a few. Definitely NOT a family friendly campground, full of drunks from the “event committee” to the camp host and everyone in between , loud music, party’s all day/night, dead trees, the campsite is not kept up by the camp host.. he’s too busy partying, A TON of drama, they raise the price but the power only works 50% of the time. worst 2 season. I’m embarrassed I have this campsite my money, Daisy may is owned by the same owners. Save yourself a headache and look elsewhere.

Awesome campsite! Owners are friendly and people are generally amazing. There are a few who would rather complain and irritate their neighbours, rather than enjoy everyone. People in the campground are always improving their sites, which sometimes creates animosity between neighbours.
