We just happened to be in Hot Springs for the night and came across Highland Meadows Resort, and what a gem. The host Robyn was there to greet us and explain in detail all that was included in the cabin. The unit was spotless, and you could tell there was so much detail put into the layout to make it a very welcoming atmosphere, making the overall accommodations fantastic, and by the way, the views were awesome. They also recommended local eateries. Robyn and Brian were good conversationalists. We will be back!

The owners are amazing hosts who truly care about the experience for their guests and leave no comfortable and amazing detail to chance. They are extremely responsive to needs and have so many fantastic amenities to make it a wonderful experience! They treat you as more than a guest and would go to any of their properties. I have had the privilege of experiencing this first hand and would recommend staying at their beautiful resort/properties.

Absolutely outstanding experience all around! We stayed in a teepee, which delighted the kids to no end. It was spacious and they had fresh water and snacks waiting for us. The bathrooms were a hop and a skip away, adjoining laundry facilities available for use. Everything was clean and thoughtful touches (notes about which towels can be used for spills, games for the kids to play, lantern and a fan, hammock hanging in the trees) made it a spot we hope to return to someday. We ended up having an issue with the laundry room door, and even though it was early, the owner responded quickly and resolved our concern. Well positioned in the middle of Hot Springs but it feels like you’re remote! Great views, would highly recommend.

We were impressed from the moment we pulled up to our cabin! The accommodations were perfect! Very comfortable and despite the small space (which we anticipated) had everything we needed. The cabin is beautifully decorated, has high quality linens, and is exceptionally well equipped with whatever is needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

This place is absolutely awesome. It sits on top of a mesa in Hot Springs, SD. It’s quiet, peaceful, and extremely accommodating. Brian and Robin are kind and thoughtful, they made sure we had everything we needed and were promised with the booking. The cabin was clean and beautiful. I’ve told all of my family and friends about this place. It’s worth staying here if your planning a trip to the black hills area.
