Beautiful spot on the river to camp. I spend a ton of weekends here. The water levels are high enough to utilize the boat ramp.
Lots of improvements over the last year or 2 to there trailer sights by adding new concrete pads on the lower and now the top campground. Boat ramp to the river for campers, ice and pop machine on site
We reserved a pad with full hook ups for one night. Upon our arrival we were told the only available spot was on the grass with water and electric only. Because we expected a sewer hook up we came from our last site half full and could not dump here. No problem we know how to conserve when we have to, but we shouldn't have had to. With no other option we took the spot. It rained over night and we were surrounded by muddy grass. The campground is a nice campground, but clay mud sticking to your shoes while trying to unhook from water and electric made for a disappointing experience.
What a great hidden gem! We were looking for an off the path place to stay with a few children and ran across this place. It's not a 5 star resort, but the owner and camp host are great and very welcoming. It is a quiet campsite and a nice playground for children. There are full hookups including 50 amp, water and sewer. It cost me $25 for a night and a gator load of firewood for $13. If you want to play on the river there is a boat launch. The camp host is in the red house on the right as you come in.
I went to visit my mom and step dad first time I have been there love the atmosphere I don't have a fishing license yet but looks promising for when I do this place makes me want to buy a camper myself and live there for what they pay way better than my trailer court good job owners keeping it so clean and awesome 👌 I well plan on visiting with them again for family time out and maybe get a spot myself
Beautiful location! Gorgeous sunsets on the river. We also had an issue with our trailer and owners were very helpful and got us back on the road! Definitely stopping by on our next road trip! Thank you!
