I can not express how happy we are with this place. The owners are the nicest and most caring people. Their entire family are incredibly hardworking and personable people. I wish I could leave 100 stars because that is how amazing this place is. Camper was awesome the cabin was top tier and we enjoyed the pontoon. We will definitely be back time and time again. The shower house was better than any hotel or campground you can find so much appreciation for this place and the owners.
Friendly, accommodating & very hard-working family owners! Nice sites & beautiful lake perfect for cruises on their pontoon boat available to rent & docked at 1 of 3 docks that was right in front of our lakefront campsite. Heard ducks, and so excited to have trumpeter swans as well! Must have been too late for loons, but the fall colors are spectacular. Great bar with cold drinks & the BEST homemade Chicago pizza right down the road! We are ATVers & the owner showed us some nice places to ride, although a little far to hook up to the trail system in Laona & Crandon. Maybe this year we’ll venture out further, as we hope to go back this fall! 👍😍
Quality campground! I've been to many, but few were as welcoming and tidy as Pine Lake. Didn't know what to expect, giving them a call smack dab in the middle of a big event weekend in the area. I was roaming the North woods on my bike and was looking for a place to pitch a tent for the night last minute. Jamie answered immediately and said they had few more spots available, and to come on in. I arrived shortly thereafter and was immediately impressed by the organization of the office and grounds. Jamie quickly got me situated and I was off to my site. Before I got unloaded Greg arrived with the firewood I ordered at check in and was a pleasure to speak with. Both Greg and Jamie made sure I had everything I needed for a great stay. And that I did. I like this place and will recommend it to everyone. Looking forward to future stays here certainly! Thanks for the great hospitality Jamie and Greg! See you again...
This is an amazing campground. The owners work very very hard hard. The grounds are well manicured and all of the bathroom facilities from the toilets to the showers are very very clean and are either brand new or have been updated in a very modern and tasteful way. There is a mix of seasonal and daily/weekly rental sites. All of the seasonal sites are well kept by the owners. And there is a nice mix of daily/ weekly rentals available. Some are right on the lake. Pine Lake is one of the largest lakes in the area and has the wild river flowing through. Boat slips are available and are conveniently located in very close proximity to the lake front camp sites. There is a good mix of young and old guests. All the guests are quiet and respectful of each other. The kids fishing from the docks are absolutely adorable and so are the older folks who go out in their boats each morning for an early morning fish. This campground is in a phenomenal location, only a half hour drive to the fun in Eagle River if you are in search of a little more excitement. But then come back here for a quiet evening by the campfire. For those of you who can't give up your technology, there is great U.S. cellular service here. I've had four bars most of the time. I highly recommend staying at this campground. You can count on this place to help ensure you have wonderful and relaxing vacation.
This campground is great. Very attentive and hardworking hosts working hard to continuously improve this superb location. Spacious sites, a decently stocked camp store, very nice bath house. A great vibe and super experience. We will definitely be back next year! Five stars overall.
