Very quiet and beautiful campground. We live out of state and in town to visit friends & family. We were able to pay a little additional to use the shelter house to have a family gathering. Everyone remarked about how beautiful it was there. Nice playground for the kids to enjoy too. We plan on coming back!

Great campground, family owned for almost 60 years! Lots of seasonal events. Short and long term camping, and cabins available.

We pulled up on the evening before 8 April 2024 eclipse, the owner was super nice and easy going. Absolutely solid integrity as we were told $25 to camp and since we were two cars we tried to hand over $50 and instead of just taking it we were told it would only be $25 as they allowed two cars per site.

Had an amazing stay for the eclipse 🥰 The owners were extremely nice and were very accommodating!! The cabin was extremely clean and easy to relax. We will definitely be back!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a fantastic time at Hillbilly Acres Campground! The location is perfect, just a short buggy ride away from Redbird State Forest. The camp store had all the essentials I forgot to pack, which was a lifesaver. Plus, the playground for the kids and being dog-friendly made it an excellent family-friendly destination. Can't wait to visit again!
