Absolutely beautiful 😍 Cooler than the cities below, perfect for Halloween time! Great host, really helpful and kind. My dog sits by her window watching the birds. Nice campground. Easy access, and you feel far removed from town while being so close. Read the current conditions, they may or may not have certain amenities. Water, etc..
We've stayed at this campground several times and really enjoy it. The sites are well spaced with picnic tables and fire pits with grates. Many of the sites are raised or lowered from the road and have a few steps to get to them. There aren't many and it helps you feel more like you're in the woods. Pit toilets only, but there's drinking water near each one. There are a lot of trails at this campground and it's not a far hike to the lake.
