Hilltop Campground

Great place with great owners. Stayed here for a year to build the Dort Federal Credit Union Main Office in Holly. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The lake is a nice size at over 400 acres and 25 ft deep. We have made many trips back and will co tinue to go there.

I’ve spent a whole year here for work. What a great place.. the lake is beautiful, as is the beach! when you travel for work 24/7/365 you figure out rather quickly what to look for in a campground. Look no further. Owners are great and genuine people. Les is always offering to help, and they take care of their campers like family. The store is more than convenient, whether you need a fitting to fix something on your trailer, or a six pack of beer and some bait. The laundry facility is always clean, and the seasonal folks here are all very nice and welcoming. The owners really care about people and it’s apparent. I’m not sure what the low ratings are all about - but I’d put money on them deserving the treatment they’ve received. Anywho, I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a low key, relaxing place to call home for a weekend or even months at a time.

I travel with my husband for work along with our 2 year old twin boys. The owners are great, so nice! It’s great to have a playground & private beach. They have large, grass spots. The location is perfect... you feel like you’re far from town but most things are within 8 minutes. We’ve stayed at over well over 30 campgrounds and this is definitely on the top of our list!

We have been seasonal camper's for over 14 years . We enjoy our lake view and having our pontoon docked right in front of us for our daily rides. We have made so many good friends along the way.

Dosent keep people from stealing. Thay only wake up when you give a honest review. Yes this is the camp ground Firewood stolen people parkng in my paid location, vandals breaking outdoor furniture, other trailers hanging over my property. Owners did noting to help correct this , wast of time and money. Not a comfortable place to relax. Constant problem throughout the summer. Porch light bulbs stolen NOT GOOD very uncomfortable. Yes this was the campground. Hilltop,lake nepasing, if I had good experiences I would say so. Severely flawed. Reviews are only recourse. Use your reviews, I know what I'm talking about. I have been a seasonal camper at Hilltop for three years and will continue to camp here. Les and Lisa are some of the best people you will ever meet. They treat my kids like family, the staff here is great to and for the money you can't go wrong. I feel so fortunate to have found this place, from the fishing, the seasonal people, the peace and tranquility that I have when I'm here, it's great. I have read a lot of terrible reviews about this place and I couldn't agree with any of them. Come here and find out for yourself.
