It's kind of convoluted to get registered, which cost everyone involved some time to get sorted initially. This is mainly because their website is set up with more restrictions than simple accommodations. Some of which overlap and conflict with each other in a way that makes booking online somewhat harder then it should be or that may even make it practical. That is to say you can't book 24hrs out or on the same day, but they also require a two-day minimum stay. For me this meant that while I was planning on arriving on Friday for a two-day stay, I could not get past the two hurtles required to pre-book on Thursday and instead had to wait until I arrived on Friday before I could get registered or pick my spot. Outside of that bit of logistics it is a nice campsite however, run in person by very nice people in a great setting, also surprisingly close to the city of Baltimore and all that has to offer.
This campground is exceptional. The staff is generous. It is hard to imagine you are minutes from the hussle and bussle of city life. The bathroom is so clean - and the (locked at night) front gate gives an extra feel of security,
Absolutely lovely place to camp in the middle of dense suburbia! Quiet, peaceful, and filled with wonderful hiking trails, & places to swim.
These mini cabins are perfect for a small group or family. Just enough space to sleep and not worry about the weather. Each cabin has a covered porch, parking for 2 vehicles, outdoor picnic table and fire pit. The bathhouse is just a short walk away.
I love camping, and we have been going here for several years. We stay in the cabins, and they have a large bed, a bunk bed, and a table with 2 chairs inside. Outside, they have a fire area, a counter with a trash hook, so animals can't get into it, and a picnic table. We enjoyed it for the weekend.

Survive relaxing place especially for a person that's an outdoors type of person
