Hilton Garden Inn Burlington Downtown

Our time here was part of a 3 day stay in Burlington. What a great city. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Perfect for when we needed to rest in between activities. The in hotel restaurant served very tasty food in a very casual dining experience. Great breakfast - with a they serve you option or the breakfast bar. Lots of visiting dogs which made walking through the hotel fun.

We enjoyed it once night stay. Staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The room were clean and temperature was comfortable. Too bad the pool was out of use. There was construction but it didn't bother us at all.

Thieves on site, beware! This is the second time I've stayed here for work. The initial time was pleasant and enjoyable. This time, a bit different. Service, location, food, employees, and the rooms really aren't bad at all, just like last visit. However this trip items were stolen from multiple locked rooms while away for work. This is totally unexceptable, to trust in leaving any items in your room, only to come back to have it stolen. Hotel and police were notified, unfortunately the thieves are still unknown. Have no idea if the thieves are employees, other guests, or just people coming into the hotel and breaking and entering and then leaving with guests stolen property. Items stolen were not petty at all. Stolen items included personal and professional items, varing in price from a thousand dollar item to a two dollar item. Who steals these things all in the same week from "targetted" guests?? People and actions like this ruin it for everyone. If you stay here, you've been warned, leave nothing in your room! Items stolen were on different floors, so I can't even say it was just one floor. I'll never stay here again, and I'm sad, I like this place, and being a Hilton Diamond member, I've always trusted Hilton....not sure anymore, at least not here.

Cons: Mandatory valet parking is a hassle- the garage they park it in is 10ft away from the entrance.. could’ve done that myself and not had to give away my car keys or be charged the extra fee. Breakfast is an extra charge, no microwave in room. Pros: Nice location, rooms, and fitness room.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Burlington for 3 nights in late September 2024. We were happy with our choice, the room was a good size and had everything we needed. The hotel is in a great location, easily accessible to all the restaurants and shops, and also the waterfront. We were on a 7 week holiday from Australia and this hotel was the most expensive we stayed in. Why it was over $450 USD per night I don't know.
