I really like this hotel and it's ideal for quick trips into the main part of the city as well as the rural locations. It seems to be only around 15 minutes away from anywhere we needed to get to. As for the staff, they were warm and friendly and ever so polite. Southern charm is a TRUTH!! The rooms are also spacious and comfortable and clean. 10/10 will definitely go back for sure.

Clean hotel in great proximity to Charleston. Stayed here several times as well as other hotels in the area. This Hilton seems to have issues with room keys. Checked in several times at the desk only to get to my room and my key not work. Sometimes the digital key works on the app and sometimes it doesn’t. BTW they also charge you $5 for parking which is not advertised when booking. Overall not a bad place to stay.

THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS !!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The most horrible and pathetic hotel in the area. They overbook and when you come to check in they tell you they have no rooms available and they are fully booked. We had the most awful experience at this facility. We took a long flight and reached Charleston at midnight, when we checked in at this hotel they told us their system overbooked and made extra reservations. We had booked 2 rooms and they said they only had 1 room available. After spending 1 hour at the front desk the hotel manager and staff told us at 1am at night that the only option is that they find another room at a different sister hotel and one of us stay at a different hotel. We were traveling with our young kids ( 5 and a year and a half) along with my mother and their brilliant solution was to split us up at 2 different locations miles apart. In the end we all ended up staying in 1 room however this place is a BIG SCAM!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a very last-minute trip for me. I needed some restorative rest after a season of grief from loosing many family members. I cannot emphasize enough just how wonderful everything was from beginning to end. Meta was the lovely woman who checked me in. I was a bit early and she could see the exhaustion on my face and immediately gave me a room. I’m a bit OCD and I didn’t know what to expect and my room on the first floor was spotless! After a walk to the waterfront and a bit of rest, I went to the pool deck where I was able to fall asleep for two hours in the incredible spring like weather! I was the only one up there and it was so relaxing. Around 415 I received a text from Kevin who had taken over for Meta for the night shift. He was checking in on everyone who had checked in earlier to see how our stay was going. What a wonderful touch! I decided to walk back over to the waterfront to try and catch the sunset. It is a five minute walk and the views are magnificent.!!! The pier is lovely with a store which sells ice cream and lovely items. I was able to witness a wedding!!! ♥️♥️ Upon my return, I was hungry and decided to sit at the bar, which just opened and Olivia who was brand new in training was the most pleasant server and bartender. She has a contagious, smile and a joyful spirit! The pizza was delicious, as was the drink. This trip was just what the doctor ordered and more! I hope I get another opportunity to come back real soon!! Thank you all!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️

I don’t typically review hotels, but this one deserves it. The positives, the bartender on the first night was great and fun. Next, the fitness center was the best I’ve seen at a Hilton. Now the rest. The bartender on Tuesday night hates her job. I ordered a second drink, so she made it and dumped in my glass; must not have wanted to do dishes. I still got charged $16.50. The morning waiter would like to be anywhere else. No comment needed, just beware if you want to order off the menu. The cleaning staff was pretty oblivious to guests, and I had them take the elevator a few times during my visit. I guess I can wait. Oh, and you have to pay to park; only $5 but it’s the principal. Finally, and most importantly, as a Hilton Diamond member, I reserved the room for $167 a night. My bill was for $207. When I called I was told the fine print allows them to adjust the rate accordingly to available. I travel to Charleston 6-8 times a year for work. I’ll have to keep looking for a decent Hilton property. Very disappointing. I called the number listed. I was told “If you read the print at the bottom when you book your reservation, the hotel reserved the right to revise the price accordingly to availability.” I refuse to be manipulated.
