The pool and indoor/outdoor hot tub are just as beautiful and clean as expected. The rooms are very clean and spacious, tons of little amenities like a microwave, huge closet space, mouth wash, MAKEUP WIPES (which is always a huge plus for me). The breakfast is not free but not expensive and is great quality. The employees are all fantastic, rooms are very clean, there’s a nice sports bar literally across the parking lot. We've been to Grand Rapids 4 times now, and this is by far the best hotel we’ve stayed in. Editing to add that Alexis is the sweetest girl. We were checking out and about to head back home and I had the nicest chat with her. The employees from the front desk to the hard working housekeepers to everyone in between were just the best.

Our stay was fantastic! We loved the spacious room with a balcony, plenty of storage for clothes, and a handy coffee bar. The bathroom was great, with a large stand-in shower. The hot tub, available both indoors and outdoors, was a highlight. The service was excellent, from the friendly bartender to the helpful maintenance guy attending the pool area! We’ll probably make this our new go-to hotel when we visit Grand Rapids!

Stayed here for nearly a month with my family. The staff were always pleasant, kind, and attentive, and it was the perfect spot for my little nephews to enjoy some breakfast and have a dip in the pool. Highly recommended.

My family and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn SE on August 3rd. Hotel was great, no issues with the stay itself. We accidentally left several small toiletry bags in the lobby when we left. I called when we realized this on 8/4 and asked if they could be shipped to me and was assured they could be and would be shipped within a few days. It is now 9/14 and still have not received the bags 6 weeks later. I have called 7-8 times to check on the status of this. Each time a message is left for James, the 'pakmail' guy, and I am assured he will call me back. No call back, no package. I understand it was our fault we left the bags/items and that it is a service on their part to offer to ship them (they said they'd bill us for the shipping.) But the service and follow up of this has been very poor customer service. Update 9/18: we did finally receive the package this week, better late than never. Communication and follow up was the biggest issue. thank you

Do not stay here in a snow storm! The snow plow in the parking lot next door sounded like an alarm clock every time it reversed. It started before 5am and continued for about an hour. Front desk reports there’s nothing they can do because it’s not their property.
