Hilton Garden Inn St. George

Decent hotel and decent nights stay. Unfortunately, we were greeted by a big (scary looking) stain on couch and zero information in room regarding amenities. They do not have a continental breakfast nor free coffee. And, it is surprising given the rate. Overall nice hotel with courteous staff. Yet could use a little more attention to detail and hospitality.

Nice hotel, but be really careful to pack all of your stuff. My daughter had her beloved stuffed animal cat that she accidentally left at the hotel in the bed. I called several times and even drove 4 hours south to try to retrieve it but the housekeeping staff took it and didn't turn it into lost and found (despite the fact that they said they turn all things into lost and found for 6 months). We retraced our steps and we are 100% certain it was left there. Sad that there are dishonest people working there. Doesn't make us want to stay there again and we come to the area often.

Location and staff were great! However, this place needs be remodeled ASAP. I was in room 528 and you turned on the sink and it sounded like an air horn trying to get thru the pipes. The cable is incredibly basic. There are outlets for your phone on one side of the bed but not on the other side. The walls are super thin and could hear our neighbors conversations. The carpeted floors all around the hotel need a good vacuuming and the floor in the elevators need to be mopped. One of the elevators makes you wonder if it’s going to get you to your floor safely. This hotel is definitely not worth the price. We sadly will not be returning and will be booking at the Hilton down the road (I think it’s Sunriver) or a different brand of hotel which is sad because I do have a Hilton AMEX and usually enjoy Hilton hotels.

Very comfortable stay. I was traveling with my cat at the time, and they were pet friendly. I had a nice and spacious room, and there were plenty of amenities to take advantage of. Unfortunately, breakfast wasn't included with the stay, and it had to be charged to the room. It was good food, but I wish I didn't have to pay extra.

House keeping comes around about 0900 and knocks on door to see if your still their. Check out is noon. Very disappointed. Management and head management could not fix the problem had to complain to corporate. They treat diamond members very unsatisfactory. Will not stay here and will make all people know how this place is ran. This place looks it's age. Other Hilton hotels in the area give some outstanding personal service.
