Hilton Garden Inn Wooster

Went up for a conference. The team was on top of it. They made personal phone calls, letting us know the hotel was under construction and where to find the check-in. They had the dust under control, so it didn't affect the sleeping areas. Everyone was really friendly, and they even had waters and snacks as an apology for the construction. Rooms were really clean and spacious and had everything needed for a good night away from home. They had a nice breakfast set up in the ballroom. Once the construction is finished it will be even better. Ps. The email confirmation had already let us know about the construction. The phone call was just a nice added touch.

Was there for a basketball tournament. Beds were great. Bathroom was very dirty. I had to clean sediment out of the tub myself. Ran a bath for my youngest and the water came out brown. Only words I heard from staff were “Ma’am. Checking out? Room number?” They say breakfast is available online but it’s a sit down, pay for, restaurant. We didn’t even bother. I’ll stay at Comfort Inn across the street next time.

We went here for dinner. The whole hotel is getting a makeover right now. We didn't stay in a room so I don't know what they look like, but the food was absolutely delicious. You can just go there for dinner any day of the week except for Sunday. The chef was so nice and he went out of his way to make sure my one picky eater was satisfied. I'm sure this place will be beautiful once the remodel is done, but for now go show them some love and support by having dinner. You will not be disappointed.

We went to spend one night there for our anniversary so we could swim. The girl at front desk was very rude and treated us like we were bothering her. very abrupt with answers. When we got to desk after standing a few minutes looking at her she meanly said what is your name. No greeting like hi or how can I help. No info on how to get to room. Once to room. Room felt dirty. Then pool was dirty and not well maintained. There was a couple in hot tub practically having sex and my husband and I were pretty sure it was staff from hotel. We were in hotel less than 2 hours. Grabbed out stuff and left. Paid a lot of money hoping it would be nice anniversary evening but definitely very disappointed. This place needs to be better maintained and staff show a lot more friendless and respect towards customers. Never going to a Hilton again.

Location is a bit out of the way if your traveling. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms however I felt was not up to standard. There was a dead bug on my bed when I walked in. The bed I used also seemed to be indented on one side and really squeaky. It would made sounds when I would turn over in bed. Prob a one off thing but still a decent stay.
