Palomino Ranch offers an absolutely fantastic horseback riding experience along the beach, which was truly a magical gift! The horses were well-cared for, and the ride along the shore was serene and picturesque. The guides were professional and ensured a safe and enjoyable ride for everyone. I'm already planning to come back for an evening ride to catch the sunset next time, as I imagine it would be even more breathtaking.

Week day so entry was only $5 and there weren’t too many people there. Beach is wide with many areas to enjoy the sun and surf.

Wonderful experience, even on a chili day. Short little trails to walk through. Right next to the fort which is free to enter.

I've been to a lot of beaches, but this one is a little more special. It's usually not terribly crowded during the week (I have never been there on the weekends). I also would not try to be in that area when the kids get out of school. A lot of the parents park in the beach parking area waiting for their children. Aside from that, it's a great beach to visit. Beautiful white sand, blue water as far as the eye can see. You can walk quite a way out in the water before your head is submerged. There are a few food trucks that sell a variety of options (the trucks are loud, which sort of take away from the tranquility), regardless the beauty of the beach makes up for it and it is nice to have that option. It's a great place to go unwind for few hours. Keep in mind that there are no lifeguards there, so it's swim at your own risk. *** To the owner, thank you for the correction. As stated by the owner, these are photos from Hobi Beach, not Historic Virginia Key Beach.***
