Ho-Humm Canoe Rental & Campground Introduce
Ho-Humm Canoe Rental & Campground, located at 30651 Marigold Dr, Lebanon, MO 65536, and reachable at (417) 588-1908 or +1 417-588-1908, falls under the Campgrounds & RV Parks category, offering camping and canoe rental services. However, customer reviews present a mixed picture of this location.
One reviewer described a significantly negative experience, citing the campground's remote location, accessible only by miles of dirt road. They reported a confrontation with the alleged owner regarding noise levels, leading to an order to leave the premises. The reviewer also mentioned close campsite proximity, an intimidating atmosphere, and difficult road access. This reviewer strongly advised against visiting the campground.
In contrast, another reviewer expressed a positive long-term experience, stating that Ho-Humm has been their preferred camping and floating destination for over 15 years. They praised the new shower house and the friendly people, particularly Clint and Sherry, who manage the campground. This reviewer appreciated the convenience of floating back to the campground and recommended others to try it.
The conflicting reviews suggest a potential inconsistency in the campground's management or guest experiences. Potential visitors should be aware of the reported remote location and the possibility of encountering strict enforcement of campground rules. The positive review indicates that some guests have enjoyed their stays, particularly those interested in floating and river activities.
Therefore, potential visitors should carefully consider these mixed reviews and weigh the potential benefits and drawbacks before deciding to stay at Ho-Humm Canoe Rental & Campground.

This was absolutely the worst camping experience. It was so far off the main roads, dirt road for miles and miles. One night we were approached by a man who claimed to be the owner of the place cussing us out because our music was apparently to loud. We had all been drinking and we were ordered to leave. Really??? We were told he was going to call the sheriff and have us escorted off of the property. Then someone sat up on a picnic table all night watching our campsite. The sites are right on top of each other. We paid for 4 nights, only stayed for 3. Will definitely never go back. Everyone that was camping seemed to be regulars or long timers. The sheriff never showed up by the way, it was probably too far down the dirt road. The roadway into the campground was not even wide enough for 2 campers to pass safely. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!
Hohumm has been my go to for camping and floating for about 15 or more years now. Clint and his wife Sherry run the place. The new shower house is nice and the people are great! I like floating back to the campground instead of waiting for a bus to run you back. I will go again soon! You should come try it out!
Mad a reservation for 8 adults to camp. We were supposed to get #13, an electric site, 2 large rafts. When we got there, the store clerk said we were in site #6 and informed us that we had to be on the early 9am bus. When we went to the campsite, it was about 30' square. Clint (who appeared to be hammered drunk) was in the area, and although I had talked to him personally he said he didnt know we had 8 people. After a bit, he moved us to #1. We set up our tents and hung out a bit and went to bed. Excited for our float, we were up early and at the bus stop by 845 am. To our disappointment, Clint showed up in the bus at a out 945. We shook it off and were ready 3float. When we got up river, we found that the rafts were "on the way". 45 minutes later, the rafts finally showed up, they all had to be inflated. Finally, we are in the river and floating. We had a great day and got back to camp safely. Quiet hour is 12 midnight. Our neighbors had rap music blasting until 230 am. When we checked out, I expressed my concerns to the clerk. She replied "I only work in the store". We have been going to ho humm for over 5 years. Disappointment is an understatement. There are plenty of places to float the niangua. This may be our last time at ho humm.
This campground has new showerhouses. The staff are always friendly and accomadating. Safe and fun river to float. Been there at least 7 times. Looking forward toy trip this summer.
Our family have been going down here for years. We love this campground. I hope they open back up. This is home away from home. We miss u all dearly.
Beautiful place to camp and float with family. Ground maintained , clean shower and bath house and super nice and friendly staff. Have been a loyal camper to them for over 20 years and could not be convinced to change
