Cute little place, with trails and swimming. Parking lot is small but there is another one for over flow. They lock the gates at dark so make sure you are out. Handicap parking is available.
I love being at our local river. What can I say? I am a river rat. Some trout fishing, fun area for kids to swim in, and lots of little off trail spots to explore.
Swimming in the Susan River. Picnic tables and BBQ Pits. Wheelchair accessible picnic tables. Big shade trees. Trailhead of the biz Johnson trail.
Beautiful! Very nice for a walk along the Susan River or just a lounge on a log with the babbling water flowing on by. Dog friendly. Bathrooms are closed at this time but a port potty is available.
Great place to have a family gathering or just enjoy the scenery. Easy access and picnic tables with barbecues. There is no fee for use, but it is closed to cars during the winter months and at sunset in summer during which time there is a camp volunteer host available.
