In 1970, 5 of us in our mid-twenties walked up to Cabin Peak (see map) on a trail we were bidding on to clean up. 12 hours on the move, walking fast. So young! Still, the next morning, it was almost impossible for me to move. Not young enough.

Campground is an great. Trails are great too. I really like it here. The road going down the hill is kinda scary, especially when there’s a car going the opposite direction. I have no clue how the pack outfit gets their horse trailer down there. It’s mind boggling!!!
