Arrived during a hell of a downpour thunderstorm but Fatima was right there waiting at the gate. She is very nice gave a quick tour and explained all the details of the property. House was cleaned very well and a UV air cleaner was in living room for added piece of mind during these times with covid19. Its quite you barely notice it I thought it was really good idea. Lots of extras like paddle boards canoes floats life vest pretty much anything you need for great time on water. Plus the option to rent a pontoon which we did and it was best day we had so much fun. Highly recommend this place. Thank you again
Lovely find. Secluded. Drive in is a rough road. I hesitate to post a review because more people will find and book here. Every amenity we would want for own cabin was here, available for us to use - kayaks, floats, so many outdoor and indoor seating areas, hot tub, wrap around deck, washer and dryer, fantastic appliances. The entire cabin is clean. If you stay here, please treat it well. Our family had a great time, made wonderful memories, and will be coming back.
A truly fabulous cabin that the only problem we had was that we wanted to stay longer. We were welcomed by the owner and made to feel as if it was our home! So peaceful and quiet! The hiking, streams and kayaks on the lake were just a few of the activities that we took advantage of. Trust me, you won't be disappointed in staying at Hogscald Cabin! I know we'll be back!
This is an amazing cabin. Worth every penny. It has everything you need and more. We travel a lot and stay at many cabins. This was the first time I didn't need to bring anything for the stay (besides personal items). The kitchen is well equipped. It's right in the water. We took the kayaks out ever night for an evening paddle. The area is quiet and a nature lovers dream.
We had such a great time! The cabin is so clean and comfortable. The lake is just behind the cabin, easy access. So many water toys: kayaks, paddle boards, , water mat, life jackets. It’s all ready for use! Something for all ages!!
