Holdenbrook Camp

I've spent over three weeks at Holdenbrook over the last few years. I always love coming back! Great host (Dale), great environment, very nice cabins. If you ride, this location puts you within easy reach of some of the nicest rides in the area. Actually, just the roads leading in to camp are among my favorite in NC. You cannot find a better place to decompress for anywhere near the great prices! We'll keep coming back. I feel guilty telling all ya'll about my secret retreat.

My favorite hidden gem in the Georgia mountains! A fun and comfortable way to glamp out in nature. The room is cozy and homie. Dale is a gracious host, and very attentive. In the back of the cabin he will have fire word ready so you can sit under the stars and enjoy the night. The bathroom is clean, warm, and accommodating with warm water for a nice hot shower after a day full of hiking. Best part, is the peacefulness in the morning, and the coffee provided by the host. Dog friendly spot, which is great to bring my GSP and watch her run around. An amazing get away resort!

From the time we drove up till the time we left Dale & Lynley were such gracious hosts. Making sure that everything was to our liking. The property is absolutely gorgeous and serene. Just 45 minutes to Helen, GA. If you love hiking and waterfalls, a number of those are close. Wineries are plentiful also. We loved staying here so much that we have been back 3 times and plan on going back. Just a side note - I am NOT a camping person, but staying here was not like camping at ALL. The rooms are spacious and even though the bathroom is outside I didn't mind it at all.

This place is absolutely perfect if you're looking to getaway for some peace and quiet and be comfortable and have all the necessities for daily living without the distraction of the outside world. We loved that there was no televisions. And the location is absolutely beautiful. It was a perfect retreat away for a relaxing, de-stressing, unwinding, break. And putting our feet in the creek definitely added to the tranquility of it all. We are looking forward to returning. And I absolutely love the outdoor shower and restroom. Dale went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with the unusually hot temperatures. And was a pleasure to chat with.

Love this place. Morning coffee by the creek before you start your winery adventure. Great place for girls getaway.
