This is a great reservable campsite if you’re looking to do some backpacking to Sandbeach Lake or Mt Orton. We started at the TH around 2pm, hiked in the 1.7 miles to this lovely little spot, and stayed for two nights. From the site, we day-hiked to Mt Orton, then stayed our second night. It’s a well maintained site close to a great creek for water.
While I've driven past here to hike the trail, I've never seen that there is any camping here. Therefore, there is no camping here. The hiking and the drive are close to the best on Earth. Go in June while the Colorado Columbines are blooming.
Great place to go hiking and unwind. Close to excellent waterfalls. The sights and sounds will feed your soul.
There’s no where to camp!
