Beautiful and peaceful place 🌞! A lot of sunshine 😌🌻 during the day and cold during the night. I had good time with friends here!
A great winter escape, only minutes to Mammoth Ski Resort. I was a little hesitant to arrive knowing the road in the camp wasn't going to be plowed, but luckily someone was there before me and laid out tire tracks for the road in and out. I was able to easily find a level camp spot and setup shop. It was very quiet, and no one else showed up for the night. In the winter (at least right now) the campground is fee-free. The vault toilet was even still open! Would 100% come back.
Best winter campground I've found so far in the eastern sierras. No one is ever here in the off season and it's free. Great views of the stars. Picnic tables. Fire pits.
Came here March 4th, camp ground was closed so was French...very disappointed, cant find anything open for winter camping
Very nice clean and not another person there
