Holiday Haven Campgrounds

This campground isn’t for everyone. The close proximity to downtown Charlottetown is what attracted us to book here. Campers with children and pets will find a mecca of activities geared toward young families. Many locals camped in the grassy field during our early August stay. The camp store was well stocked and there are plenty of washers and dryers in the laundry area ($2.50 each — the machines could be cleaner). Overall the CG served our purpose as a starting point for day trips to discover PEI. Otherwise, it’s the equivalent of city dwelling RV style.

Holiday Haven is a campground with a family atmosphere. Management/owners are hard working, they strive for all of us to have a safe, fun, great time. The pool is awesome, which include a hot tub. The sites are spacious, you won’t be looking into the side of the one next to you. Weekend activities such as bingo, trivia night, adult swim, campground poker, to name a few. Though there have been restrictions placed on all of us, Holiday Haven makes it happen. There will be changes made to the gathering numbers and masks as required, we still have a great time. Just starting going here in Aug. My husband and I came by one weekend and stayed with friends that have a site here, we fell in love with it. We never owned a camper, this is our first time doing this. Before we left for that weekend we put a deposit on a site to hold it (nope didn't have a camper yet!!!). That night I went home and bought a camper site unseen. Couldn't be more happy with what we did. We brought our new camper in the following week, and cant get enough of being at Holiday Haven. 100% a great place to be. The owners are very nice people, and everyone that works there is great. There is always something to do. The bath houses are always clean, and the pool is beautiful. if your looking for a great place to call your camper home this is the place. This is really a great place for the money. Very comparable to the big name campgrounds that charge three times as much and don't nickel and dime the brains out of you! HHC is extremely well maintained and have people that live here all season... not nearly as touristy, making it feel much more homey! The family owned staff is incredible and the people that live hear are extraordinarily friendly. -- The last place we use to go to regularly, our campfire wood would "dissappear" from our site overnight regularly... that NEVER happens here. People really look out for each other 👍🏼

This is our 2nd full season at Holiday Haven and we love it. The seasoned campers welcome you, sites are great, alot of activities for all. My husband and grandsons and I love it here. You feel totally safe and know your kids can play and be safe as well. Can;t wait to keep making memories. Great family campground! Owners are awesome people! Very clean............
