Holiday Inn Club Vacations Apple Mountain Resort at Clarkesville, an IHG Hotel

We stay here all the time. Couple times a month and have been coming for years. The staff is amazing! Rooms are always clean and fresh. Grounds are always well kept. During the summer the pool is great! We always look forward to coming back and hate to leave. The pleasant people working the front desk and office always do a great job going above and beyond!

My wife & daughters stayed here while visiting Helen, and this is perfectly far enough away to get out of the hustle bustle of town and wind down. On top of that, for a vacation club property, there is no pushy sales staff, so even more extra stress-free! Con first - this is an older stick-built property so we could hear the family above us walking on the creaky floors, but hey, Mast General Store makes the floors creak in all their stores, and I love Mast Gen. Pros next - super friendly and helpful staff, very clean property inside & out, awesome 'free' putt-putt course, they also had a movie room and arcade that we didn't have time to use. I would recommend staying here, and look forward to when we can come back.

We had a great time. We went during Christmas so not a whole lot of people around. Staff was nice and rooms are very comfortable. We had a president suite and had plenty of room for 6 people. The mini golf was kid approved the disc golf was defitnetly beginner approved and would love to visit again

The bad - No elevators, so 2/3 of the resorts rooms are up stairs. The staff are basically a skeleton crew. The grill was okay but reminiscent of a fast food restaurant more than a resort restaurant. No in room clothes washer or dryer. The resort is 20 miles from most of the area's attractions. The good - Very friendly and helpful staff, well kept grounds, very clean rooms, everything our room worked.

This is an older hotel but very clean and nice. The hotel does have a very strong scent of apple but it didn't bother us. The indoor pool could definitely use some better ventilation but it's still very nice. The front desk staff is nothing short of amazing!! We had a great stay!
