Holiday Inn Express Dandridge, an IHG Hotel

I travel quite frequently with my job, this hotel is by far the best. The rooms were very clean, and staff is phenomenal. I am traveling with a child who is disabled and they completely went out of their way to help. The lady at the front desk insisted on helping with the luggage cart when she saw my hands were full with a full cart and a child with a wheelchair. The elevator was down for a few minutes for maintenance I decided to use the stairs and one of the housekeepers (I believe her name is Tiffany) dropped everything she was doing to insist on helping by carrying the child's wheelchair down three flights of stairs for me. Even the housekeeping manager was extremely friendly and professional and done everything to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. I've never seen such fantastic service, even from the most high class hotels. If I could give more stars than 5, I would.

We traveled for 8 hours and had to leave early in the morning. We had no choice but to stay here. I have stayed at several dozen Holiday Inns for my business and traveling over the last 10 years. This is by far the worst Holiday Inn I have ever seen. I have concerns that there is a bed bug and spider issue at this location and I have never experienced that at any Holiday Inn. Management and Corporate have not addressed my concerns in an acceptable way. Look at other reviews. There are dozens upon dozens of 1 star reviews with the same complaints. Don’t stay here. Keep driving into Knoxville and find another hotel. I am posting this review several places because I don’t want anyone to be fooled into staying here out of desperation.

Passing through this hotel was perfect. Room was nice and shower felt great after a day of driving. The staff here really made this place perfect; very friendly, welcoming and aiming to please. Coffee and breakfast items available were great too!

Thursday nights, I have my daughter. This year it happened to fall on her 15th birthday. I’ve been staying at a hotel with her Thursdays lately… after doing the math, the 5 hours I lose from the extra driving time plus gas etc, it made sense. I had told the staff it was her birthday, and yesterday I when walked into our room, I had discovered they had set it up with balloons and a birthday cake. What was somewhat awkward at first, has turned into something special. My daughter and I get to have a sort of “mini” vacation every week, and I know this is a memory she’ll never forget. Best place in the area for sure. Breakfast is excellent 👍

This is a great place to stay. Beds were very comfortable. Very clean and accommodating. Staff was very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very good however the coffee was either overcooked or stale.
