Holiday Inn Express Deforest (Madison Area), an IHG Hotel

Stayed here for 3 days for seminar. Was greeted by big friendly smiles. I noticed it looked dated but clean. Then I seen signs they will start remodeling this summer 2025. I got to my room again dated but clean. Really clean. Breakfast was awesome. Bacon crispy and biscuits and gravy. Not crappy biscuits and gravy they put effort into it. It was so good. Stay here it’s a gem. I come back her again I’m staying here. I only gave 4 stars because it’s dated but that will change this year. Please add recliners to your remodel. Some of us over 40 people can only sleep in recliner. That would be the icing on the cake

This hotel proved to be the perfect spot to meet up with my cousins and their husbands for an overnight weekend. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable beds. The front desk staff was super helpful in getting us 3 rooms last minute and every person that worked there was very pleasant and said hello. The breakfast area was great and the food did not disappoint (especially the warm cinnamon rolls😜) Overall great experience!

Excellent service, this hotel goes above and beyond for their guest. Vintage is beautiful. Very clean room, beds are comfortable and the hot tub is the best. Breakfast is hot and delicious. Coffee. Is hot and ready for whenever you need it and cinnamon rolls are perfect in the morning.

Noah was especially helpful. We were arriving late and he made sure my reservation was secure and that I had adjoining rooms for our entire family. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was hot and all items were full and ready for guests! This is one of the best Holiday Inn Express Hotels that we’ve stayed at.

I used to live in deforest so the only time I came here was as a young girl to swim with friends, it’s as great as I remembered it. We popped in for a longer than planned visit and was happy when I asked over the phone if they had rooms available. The man that checked us in was very nice, rooms are comfortable we slept so well! The shower in the morning was perfect, great water pressure and lots of toiletries available. My son and I went to breakfast 20 min before it was over, the gentleman in charge let us know to take our time and take as much as we’d like there was no rush, we made small talk and he encouraged me to take the remaining cinnamon rolls in a baggy since they had to be tossed anyway, my brother in law really enjoyed them. Will happily stay here again if we need to, great location and not too far of a drive from the dells!
