LGBTQ+ friendly
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The entire facility was clean. My room was clean. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable! The only thing I would suggest, bring your own bath/shower supplies. While they do have the larger bottles in the bathroom for guests to use, it is heavily scented with a chemically fragrance that is not at all good for skin/hair. I packed light, being it was a business trip. However, next time, I'll bring my own toiletries for my stay. I would definitely stay here again while in the area.
We were visiting family for the week and chose this central location. We were pleased with the Manager’s Reception Monday through Thursday and the daily breakfast offerings. The staff were very pleasant. The manager was available and helped out his employees. I would choose this location again. There is a lot of bang for our buck!
I stayed at this location before and it was OK, however, upon looking at the recent reviews, I do not like how the front desk manager handle the birthday party situation with one of the previous guess. You call Joe self resolving her issue through her review and public instead of telling her to reach out to you directly. Very unprofessional. I thought it was more important to be in your feelings rather than to actually assist. Whether she went about the birthday party, the wrong way or the right way. You were wrong as a so-called professional in a place that she decided to patronize.
Cheerful greeting by front desk staff. The hotel is very clean and the beds are so comfortable. I slept great. Staff knew we had to leave early, so they made sure breakfast was ready for us. I highly recommend Holiday Inn Express when traveling in the Janesville, WI area. Daniel R. followed up with an email thanking us for choosing Holiday Express.
Yes my daughter had her daughter and my granddaughter birthday party scheduled there. Worst experience ever, my daughter had anxiety the entire time. The front desk guys were rude as heck. They told my daughter that she could only have ten kids and only five people could sleep in the room and when she booked this they didn’t mention anything of the sort. And we had to be done by 6 and not to be loud. A party for two 5 year olds. We felt so rushed and didn’t enjoy any of our time. Daniel front desk staff was very rude kept giving us dirty looks. I will definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone and will never stay at this location. Definitely not the welcoming we expected.. I believe my daughter should get an apology and reimbursement. We will be calling corporate.
