EDIT: Not long ago, I received a delightful email from the general manager, with more of an explanation and addressing concerns with the hotel. If I need to return to Silver City, I will give this hotel another try, because of the General Manager. I get it...the hotel has work being done. Most normal hotels and chains notify you before arrival that work is being done that 1) takes down breakfast (the whole reason my company uses IHG); 2) laundry services are down and 3) workout rooms are down. I get it...but what makes these things even more aggregious is the lukewarm water in showers and sinks; a work colleague who had no towels in her room; another work colleague's room was 90 degrees upon arrival. Desk staff are generally nowhere to be found, except maybe sitting in the back office huddled around a computer screen (which makes you wonder what is on that computer screen). For the work being done...fine. Notice before arrival would be better. "Allowing" folks to cancel their room upon arrival because of the work being done is standard, but late. The other issues? Nah, those are management issues. I would have done better, and saved my client a ton of money, had I stayed at another hotel in town, with lower expectations, but expectations that were actually met.

We have stayed here before. Very disappointed this time Dec 2024. Hotel undergoing construction renovation. Very noisy in room above our room throughout the day. Kitchen problems so no hot or cooked breakfast. Our room key had to be constantly renewed each day. Which we were never told about. Such a hassle to return from day trip and not be able to get into our room And have to locate front desk staff. We will not stay here again. .

At $206 a night I expect a lot more. It's literally twice the price of most other local hotels and manages to be worse. My toilet constantly runs, and the guest laundry is out of order. If you are traveling for work stay at another hotel and save your company some money. If you are traveling for leisure, stay at another hotel and enjoy what silver city has to offer. I've been coming here for 2 1/2 years every couple of months for work. It's been a steady and noticeable decline the whole time. Currently many guests have to illegally park in the street due to 75 percent of the parking lot being closed due to renovations.

This place was a great place to stay at. I’m not to sure what happened. It must be under new management or something. Can’t believe that the customer assistance has gone completely downhill. not a single person will answer the phone if you try to call the number given so forget trying to make reservations via phone call.

Rooms aren’t as clean there are very dusty but better than anything else in the area. And the QR Code to steam to the tv doesn’t work
