Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ashland, an IHG Hotel

I came to stay here after my husband left for the military to Korea, after frantically arriving and checking in the woman at the front desk (I believe her name was Meredith) was beyond sweet, beyond amazing beyond helpful. Not only did she allow me to check in early, she saw how stressed I was and said such kind words to me. If you are reading this Meredith, I hope you know you made my day, I will always remember the kindness you showed me. Holiday inn, she is fantastic ! The room was clean, the hotel is dog friendly which was a plus, check in was easy and quick. I always stay at IHG hotels they are always well put together, clean and the staff is always friendly. Breakfast was served in the morning which was delicious. Thank you!

We've stayed here four different times in the span of 3 years and every time it has been clean, well maintained, and an over 10/10 experience. Very safe! Very friendly staff and the pool is nice!

Incredible stay. Better than I could have ever expected at a chain hotel. Staff was great. Especially Merideth and Claudia. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. They had no problem with letting us check out late. Will 100% stay again when in Ashland. 3 groups of my family stayed here for a wedding and everyone loved it.

Breakfast not up to HIE standards. For example, only 2 of the 3 heated pans were being used. No unsweetened oatmeal, only instant. Front desk told me they haven’t had biscuits and gravy in many months. When I asked why I was told “probably not for a good reason”. Absolutely not meeting brand expectations.

Our trailer broke down, so we ended up staying a few days. The front desk people, especially Meridith? we're so nice and helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed.
