Myself and my wife and my 9 year old son stayed over the weekend. I have to say most definitely the best breakfast I have had a hotel ever, and I stay at hotels for business travel. The breakfast attendant was super efficient the selection of food was so far superior to other places, she had hot fresh biscuits and Gravy she had bacon, which we never see and she was working so hard, I saw at least 3 or 4 guest asking her for things and she happily replied. If I offer any advise it would be get a extra person to help with breakfast, she was also making coffee, cleaning tables someone spilled a bowl of cereal and she is cleaning it up and I am, and was just in awe how much one person had going on. I am a credit card person and I rarely carry cash or I would have chucked out a handful, we also let the front desk know what a great breakfast. We appreciated everything she was taking care of it sincerely made are stay We can't wait to come back.
Better than expected, The front desk (Manager) the gentleman was very polite, active listener and accommodated my needs. At the time of my stay for that night, I was going through some marital issues and wasn’t in the right mind, but he was very understanding and went above and beyond to make my stay easier.
Easy to find. Clean inside. Clean outside as well. Just passing thru, it's a good spot to stop. Easy check in too. Coffee for you in the room... pop cup type.
The rooms were on par for the brand. They offer breakfast with your stay. Great for grabbing a piece of fruit and yogurt on the way out each morning. As usual these rooms can never seem to get the temp right. It’s on and you freeze and then after sweating for a while the freeze kicks back on. For the most part this location was quiet. It’s right off GA 400 for travelers.
The elevator inspection is expired and creeps me out a bit. The hallways are a little outdated, but the rooms are nice. The bathrooms are the more updated. However, they do not offer an actual business center with computers for guest in a more private location. It's right upfront in the dining hall in view of everyone near the front desk. Also, the dining hall is smaller compared to other Holiday inn's I have stayed at or any IHG hotels.
