Holiday Inn Express & Suites Brooksville West, an IHG Hotel

Enjoyed my recent stay here. The rooms were great, very clean, had everything I needed. I really appreciated the Dove products the bathroom was stocked with. The pillows and king sized bed were very comfortable. House keeping and the breakfast servers were friendly, helpful and hardworking. Employees at the check-in desk were very nice. I would stay here again.

Wanted to give some feedback as to my stay. It definitely ranks in the top three of negative experiences I’ve had with IHG, and that includes the time my room was broken into with me in it. When I checked in last night 11/22/2024, I asked the front desk to change my reservation from 1 night to 2. She told me I had to call IHG and she couldn’t do it. An inconvenience but ok. This morning, 11/23, went to breakfast and that’s where the problem was. Sandra was the loudest person I’ve ever heard at a hotel. Everyone eating kept looking at her in disbelief. Beyond being loud the conversation between her at the front desk and the lady stocking the breakfast bar was very inappropriate. So as your reading the list below, keep in mind people are trying to enjoy a peaceful meal. I now know that Sandra: - has diabetes because she loves sugar - a man is very mad but he is allowed to be because of how “effin” hot he is and something about being scammed - her hotel coffee tastes like mud - where in her house her Christmas tree was stored because she answered a call from her son at the front desk and was so loud everyone eating breakfast heard - she said “I don’t care what IHG says, this is my hotel” - Called the IHG agent I was talking to via the IHG app a liar (trying to change my reservation) She identified herself as a manager. If that’s true, wow.

Great location and the front desk people are okay sometimes the lady who works at night gives me some trouble when trying to charge my card but always wants to charge the room instead, and then there's the complimentary breakfast and I'm not a picky person but when you have a full breakfast offered that's what should be offered instead the kitchen staff seems to only like making 3 things for breakfast omelets sausage pattys and sausage links nothing else it's very disappointing especially when I've stayed at less nicer holiday inns and they have way more offerings for breakfast. Left me a little disappointed.....

We booked our stay for 3 night's. The room was very clean and had updated modern fixtures. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. The bathroom was very nice. I'm impressed with how nice this place is. The staff was so friendly and was always asking if we needed something. They have complimentary breakfast which was pretty tasty. We did witness a customer who was mistreating an employee. He was extremely rude and wanted his way. The manager handled that situation in a friendly professional manner. We'll definitely come back.

I made a big error on my booking! Reena, at the front desk was absolutely amazing in getting "my" error resolved!! IHG - people like her, will keep me coming back to this location when I travel for work!
