Holiday Inn Express & Suites Carpinteria, an IHG Hotel

Stayed here for a solo trip to the Santa Barbara area. Check in was quick and easy- the team found my reservation and checked me in with ease. Parking was complimentary for the duration of my stay, which helped. The room smelled like it was recently cleaned, which was a plus. It was also more than spacious enough for one person. There were only two drawbacks: there didn't appear to be a safe installed in my room and the volume for the television was stuck on a low volume level that I couldn't change. Breakfast was served everyday and was filling and satisfying, and staff was friendly and recognizing guests. My room was cleaned every day of my stay, which I personally appreciated. The location left a little to be desired. The closest attractions such as the state beach were about a 15-20 minute walk- not a deal breaker, I personally enjoyed walking around and felt safe during the day. Check out was super smooth- all I had to do was turn in my key and I was set. For future trips to the Santa Barbara area, this will definitely be in my top considerations. The amenities made it an ideal base camp for the day's activities, and it lives up to the Holiday Inn name.

We have loved our stay at the Holiday Inn in Carpinteria! This location is great! It is an easy walk to downtown, restaurants, coffee shops and the beach. Albertsons is also a quick walk if you are in need of a grocery store! The pool and spa were also a hit! The staff was friendly and helpful! The breakfast each morning has been delicious as well!

They make you wait to exactly 3 PM to check you in. Yes, I understand that check-in time at most hotels is 3 PM, but I guess I've just come to expect the same great service that I get at IHG hotels. Once in a while, I get there a little early and usually get my room. Not this time I got there a little after 2 PM . I am a frequent traveler

The Force was strong with my stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Carpinteria. From the moment I arrived, a sense of peace and comfort surrounded me, as if guided by the will of the Force itself. The bed, soft as the clouds above Bespin, provided rest deeper than meditation, truly one of the finest IHG has to offer. The room, pristine and well-kept, reflected the dedication and discipline of its caretakers—clearly, the housekeeping staff holds their duty in the highest regard. Their attention to detail rivaled that of a Jedi crafting their lightsaber. The staff, warm and welcoming, radiated kindness, ensuring that my stay was not just comfortable, but a true sanctuary. Their hospitality was as unwavering as a Jedi's commitment to peace. As for location, the inn sits in a most strategic position—near the heart of Carpinteria, where shops and eateries abound, easily accessible for any traveler, be they Jedi or civilian. If you seek a place of tranquility, comfort, and convenience, I sense you will find great satisfaction at the Holiday Inn Express. Without hesitation, I shall return, for a Jedi knows when they have found a truly worthy refuge.

It’s beautiful location! Very nice stay here. Got a king sized bed then can see the palm tree outside. Amazing!
